Each of the eight pages of the this book holds a porcelain disc, one for each hour of the Liturgical day. Each side of the disc has text extracted from Katherine Mosley’s “The Book of Uncommon Prayer” © 1996.
The discs are stitched into place between two layers of silk organza, the layers of silk are then mounted into pages with window cut outs. The thickness of the resulting pages, bound as a board book, along with the flexible tyvek spine, allow the book to be opened so that many pages can be displayed at the same time.
